Ivan Mazepa is portrayed, a statesman, political and military figure in the Ukrainian history of the 17th – early 18th centuries, General Aide-de-Camp (1682 – 1687) of the Zaporozhian Host, Hetman of the Left-Bank Ukraine (1687 – 1709), patron of education and arts. The portrait of Ivan Mazepa. On the left of it there is the small National Emblem of Ukraine; under which there is image of the Kyivan Rus hryvnia. Governor of the National Bank of Ukraine S.L.Tigipko. Back side: The Kyiv Pechersk Laura Monastry, a main Orthodox monastry of Eastern Slaves founded in 1051; on the right of it there is a composition of the attributes symbolizing Masepa's life and activity.
999.9 silver. Dimensions: 133 x 66 x 1.35 mm. Weight – 124.4 g. Mintage: 500. Series СX, № 0350. The souvenir was struck at the National Bank of Ukraine Mint.
