Description: '65 Years of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War 1941 – 1945' circulation coin of 1 Hryvnia denomination is dedicated to the 60th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War 1941 – 1945.
Obverse: There is the small State Emblem of Ukraine is depicted, beneath – 2010, the coin mintage year; within the frame of the old-Rus ornamentation there is a three-lined inscription: УКРАЇНА / 1 / ГРИВНЯ (UKRAINE / 1 / HRYVNIA), as well as the Mint logo of the National Bank of Ukraine.
Reverse: Above – the Great Patriotic War order, on both sides – 1945 – 2010, within – inscriptions: 65 РОКІВ / ПЕРЕМОГИ (65 YEARS OF THE VICTORY), Ribbon of Saint George and two pinks near an Eternal flame.
Diameter – 26 mm., thickness – 1.85 mm., weight – 6.8 g. Along the rim of the coin the following inscriptions are pressed in: 'ОДНА ГРИВНА' (ONE HRYVNIA) and the year of its mintage, separated with dots from one another. Artist and sculptor: Vladymyr Demianenko.
Put in circulation since April 28, 2010. Struck at the Mint of the National Bank of Ukraine.
