Description: Face side: The portrait of Vladymyr The Great, Grand Prince of Kyiv (980 – 1015).
Back side: The ruins of Chersonesus (Korsun in the old Rus annals). The both sides the banknote are decorated with national ornaments.
Dimensions: 135 х 70 mm. The predominant color is dark green. Serial No 1444172377.
The banknote was printed on special white paper, not fluorescent in the ultraviolet rays with one-tone non-fixed watermarks, located all over the banknote which form a trident made in light lines. The note has rainbow printing; antiscanning grid; microtext; visible security fibers; fluorescent number; hidden denomination; relief printing; fluorescent feature.
Issued on September 2, 1996. Printed by the Canadian banknote producing company – 'Canadian Banknote Company'.

Dimensions: 63 х 118 mm. Predominant colors are green and gray. Serial No ЗЙ 7175467.
The banknote was printed on special tones paper with its main color corresponding to the predominant color of the banknote. It is non-fluorescent paper with a multi-tone local watermark, light watermark element, double-tone watermark (bar-code), security thread and security fibers. The note also has security thread; see-through element; microtext; orloff printing; rainbow printing; antiscanning grid.

Back side: The Vladymyr's Burg in Kyiv on those right there is a composition of armor, a crose and an ornament of Vladymyr's epoch. The both sides the banknote are decorated with national ornaments.
Dimensions: 63 х 118 mm. The banknote is printed on the untinted paper. Predominant colors are blue and ellow. Serial No ВН 5688850. Watermark: imprint of the hryvnia logo is visible when looking at the banknote against the light.
The note has multi-tone portrait, formed by the internal structure of paper, has a fixed position on the banknote and becomes visible when the banknote is held up to the light; security thread and security fibers; letterpress printing; serial numbers; see-through element; orloff printing; microtext; antiscanning grid; rainbow printing.
