Ukraine was among UN founding members. 925 standard silver. Weight – 31.1 g., diameter – 38.61 mm., edge – incised. Artists: Vladymyr Taran, Alexander Kharuk, Sergey Kharuk; sculptors: Sviatoslav Ivanenko. Put in circulation since May 24, 2005. Mintage: 5 000. The coin was struck at the National Bank of Ukraine Mint.

Description: Commemorative coin 'Baturyn'. The coin is dedicated to Baturyn, the capital city of such Ukrainian Hetmans of the Left Bank Ukraine, as: D.Mnohohrishny, I.Samoilovych, I.Mazepa and K.Rozumovsky. Since 1669 governmental institutions had been functioning in this city. Destroyed in 1708 on the order of Russian Czar Peter the First, Baturyn was restored to life again and for the second but the last time became the capital city of the Cossack state under ruling of Hetman Kyrylo Rozumovsky. 925 standard silver. Weight - 31.1 g., diameter - 38.61 mm., edge - incised. Artist and sculptor: Vladymyr Atamanchuk. Put in circulation since November 16, 2005. Mintage: 5 000.
