Description: Commemorative coin 'Year of Pig (Hog)'. The coin is dedicated to the Year of a Pig, one of the animal-symbols of the Oriental calendar, which is based on the twelve months cycle of Jupiter, the largest planet of the Solar system. Obverse: Within setting made of a vegetable ornamentation in the primitivism technique there are inscriptions: УКРАЇНА / 5 / ГРИВЕНЬ (UKRAINE / 5 / HRYVNIAS); at the top there is the small National Emblem of Ukraine and the inscription: НАЦІОНАЛЬНИЙ БАНК (NATIONAL BANK OF UKRAINE); beneath: 2007, the coin issue year, as well as Ag 925, the designation of metal; 15,55g, its weight in fineness and the NBU Mint logotype. Reverse: There is a pig made in a technique of a cheap popular print within a vegetable ornamentation setting. Both above and below it there is a depiction of contour figures of all 12 symbols of the Oriental calendar. 925 standard silver. Weight - 15.55 g., diameter - 33.00 mm., edge - incised. Artists: Vladymyr Taran, Aleksander Kharuk, Sergey Kharuk; sculptor: Vladymyr Demianenko, Roman Chaikovskyi. Put in circulation since January 2, 2007. Mintage: 15 000. Description: Commemorative coin 'Pure water is source of life'. The coin is dedicated to water, one of the fundamental sources of life on the Earth. The coin have to attract attention of the society to economical treatment of natural resources, in particular, rivers, lakes and seas. Obverse: Within the internal ring there are depicted circles dispersing on the water surface from a drop of water, at the upper ring part – the next drop. Along the external ring there are the small National Emblem of Ukraine, 2007, the coin mintage year, the inscriptions: НАЦІОНАЛЬНИЙ БАНК УКРАЇНИ (NATIONAL BANK OF UKRAINE), the coin face value: 20 ГРИВЕНЬ (20 HRYVNIAS) and the NBU Mint logotype. Reverse: Within the internal ring there is a symbolic composition: a human being and waterfall. The inscription: ЧИСТА ВОДА – ДЖЕРЕЛО ЖИТТЯ (PURE WATER IS A SOURCE OF LIFE). Bimetal. Embedding metal: gold 916, ring metal: silver 925. Weight: embedding metal – 5.81 g.; ring metal – 8.42 g., diameter – 31.0 mm., edge – sector incised. Description: Jubilee coin '120 Years to the Odesa National Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre'. The coin is dedicated to 120th anniversary of the Odesa National Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre, a famous structure built in the style of Vienna Baroque according to the design project of architects Ferdinand Falner and Hermann Helmer. The theatre was opened in 1887. The ceiling of the theatre hall was painted by a Vienna artist Franz Lefler according to motives of Shakespeare's works. Obverse: There is the theatre hall interior and the inscriptions: НАЦІОНАЛЬНИЙ / БАНК УКРАЇНИ / 10 ГРИВЕНЬ / 2007 (NATIONAL BANK OF UKRAINE / 10 HRYVNIAS / 2007), to the left of which there is the small State Emblem of Ukraine, designation of the metal, its net weight and logotype of the National Bank of Ukraine. On the left from the circle there is the small National Emblem of Ukraine, on the right the coin issue year, the metal designation and its weight; around the coin circumference there are inscriptions: НАЦІОНАЛЬНИЙ БАНК УКРАЇНИ (NATIONAL BANK OF UKRAINE) (above), 5 ГРИВЕНЬ (5 HRYVNIAS) (beneath), as well as the Mint logotype of the NBU.
