Denomination: 50 Kopiyok
Year: 1996
Material: Silver
Description: The coin was deliberately struck in 'another's' metal (a cupronickel alloy) instead of a brass.
Obverse: A trident depiction in the centre, i.e. the coat of arms of Ukraine, framed on both sides with an ornament of two oak leaves and two ears of wheat. The inscription above the coat of arms – УКРАЇНА (UKRAINE), and the year of coin mintage beneath it.
Reverse: There is a digital designation of coin denomination, and beneath it – a corresponding inscription of '50 КОПІЙОК' (50 KOPIYOK). The denomination is framed with a conventionalized wreath of leaves and berries of viburnum.
925 standard silver. Diameter – 23 mm., weight – 6.50 g. Edge: with grained sectors.
