On the Currency Unit of Ukraine souvenir of 50 hryvnia denomination banknote of 2004 issue Mykhailo Hrushevskyi is portrayed. He's a historian, a prominent figure of Ukrainian national, cultural and independent statehood revival, Chairman of the Ukrainian Central Rada (Council) (1917 – 1918).
Face side: The portrait of Mikhail Hrushevskyi (1866 – 1934). Governor of the National Bank of Ukraine S.L.Tigipko.
Back side: The building of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine in Kyiv.
999.9 silver. Dimensions: 133 x 66 x 1.35 mm. Weight – 124.4 g. Mintage: 500. Series СT, № 0285.
The souvenir was struck at the National Bank of Ukraine Mint.
