Description: '60 Years of Liberation of Ukraine from Fascist Invaders' circulation coin of 1 Hryvnia denomination is dedicated to 60th anniversary of liberation of Ukraine from fascist invaders, to participants of 1941 – 1945 operations, to veterans of labor front and to commemorate the killed in the fight against fascism.
Obverse: There is the Small State Emblem of Ukraine; beneath – the coin mintage year – 2004 and within the frame of an old-rus ornamental pattern there is a three-lined inscription: УКРАЇНА / 1 / ГРИВНЯ (UKRAINE / 1 / HRYVNIA), as well as the Mint logo of the National bank of Ukraine. Obverse: There is an inscription: '60 Years of liberation of Ukraine from fascist invaders' and a depiction of a lapel of the Great Patriotic War veteran's jacket with decorations: the Glory order and medals: 'For bravery', 'For fighting services', 'For Defence of Kyiv', etc. Diameter – 26 mm., thickness – 1.85 mm., weight – 6.8 г. Along the rim of the coin the following inscriptions are pressed in: 'ОДНА ГРИВНЯ' (ONE HRYVNIA) and the year of its mintage, separated with dots from one another. Artist and sculptor: Roman Chaikovsky and Vladymyr Demianenko. Put in circulation since October 25, 2004. Struck at the Mint of the National Bank of Ukraine.
