Description: Obverse: A trident depiction in the centre, i.e. the coat of arms of Ukraine, framed on both sides with an ornament of two oak leaves and two ears of wheat. The inscription above the coat of arms – УКРАЇНА (UKRAINE), the year of coin mintage and the NBU Mint logotype beneath it.
Reverse: There is a digital designation of coin denomination, and beneath it – a corresponding inscription of '50 КОПІЙОК' (50 KOPIYOK). The denomination is framed with a conventionalized wreath of leaves and berries of viburnum.
Diameter – 23 mm., thickness – 1.55 mm., weight – 4.2 g. (+ / - 5%). Edge: with grained sectors. Artist and sculptor: V. Lopata.
Put in circulation since April 04, 2007. Struck at the Mint of the National Bank of Ukraine.
