Description: Commemorative coin 'On Motifs of Lesya Ukrainka’s Work “The Forest Song ”'. The coin is dedicated to the 140th anniversary of birth of Lesya Ukrainka, a Ukrainian poetess, playwright and public figure, as well as to the centenary of writing her drama 'The Forest Song'. Lesya Ukrainka’s multifaceted talent has revealed itself in the most diverse spheres of the literary work – she has been a lyric poet, playwright, prose writer, literary critic and publicist, translator and specialist in folklore. One of the most remarkable dramatical pieces of Lesya Ukrainka is 'The Forest Song', an extravaganza drama, based on the rich Volhynian folklore and written in rhythmically beautiful verses; it asserts the human dream, winged sentiments, triumph of amenities of the life over the spiritual impoverishment.
Obverse: Above there is the Small Coat of Arms of Ukraine with the semicircular inscription: ÍÀÖ²ÎÍÀËÜÍÈÉ ÁÀÍÊ ÓÊÐÀ¯ÍÈ (NATIONAL BANK OF UKRAINE); to the left there is a portrait of Lesya Ukrainka with indication of her life years 1871 / 1913 and a gilded quill pen with the inscription: ËÅÑß / ÓÊÐÀ¯ÍÊÀ (LESYA / UKRAINKA) thereover; to the right there is depicted a viburnum branch with the coin issue year indication 2011; below there is the coin face value: ÄÂÀÄÖßÒÜ ÃÐÈÂÅÍÜ (twenty hryvnias).
Reverse: In the foreground there is a lyric representation of Mavka holding in hand a willow branch being a part of 'a century-old heavily wooded forest'; in the dark background there is depicted Lukash who, leaning against a birch tree, is playing the sopilka whose sounds awaken Mavka. Below to the right there is the legend: ˲ÑÎÂÀ / ϲÑÍß (FOREST / SONG).
925 standard silver. Weight – 62.2 g., diameter – 50.00 mm., edge – smooth with in-depth legend indicating the metal, its fineness, weight in fineness and the Mint logotype. Artists: obverse – Vladymyr Taran, Aleksander Kharuk, Serhii Kharuk; reverse – Anatolii Demianenko; sculptors – Vladymyr Demianenko, Anatolii Demianenko.

Description: Commemorative coin 'Peresopnytsia Gospels'. 'Spiritual Treasures of Ukraine' series. The coin is dedicated to the The coin is dedicated to the outstanding monument of the spiritual culture and writing of Ukrainian people of the middle of the XVIth century, i.e. Peresopnytsia Gospels. The Peresopnytsia Gospels are in matter the four canonical Gospels of the New Testament. The manuscript is the first known example of vernacular Ukrainian language, which survives to this day. In 1561 at the monastery of Holy Virgin (Nativity of the Theotokos) in Peresopnytsia the work upon the Gospels was ended. The text had been translated by Hryhorii, the archimandrite of the Peresopnytsia Monastery, and written by the scribe Mykhailo Vasyl’ovych, a son of an archpriest from Sianik. The Peresopnytsia Gospels are a national relic and the Presidents of Ukraine on the Inauguration Day solemnly swear on them allegiance to the Ukrainian people.
Obverse: Above there is the Small Coat of Arms of Ukraine with the semicircular inscription: ÍÀÖ²ÎÍÀËÜÍÈÉ ÁÀÍÊ ÓÊÐÀ¯ÍÈ (NATIONAL BANK OF UKRAINE); below – the coin face value: ÄÂÀÄÖßÒÜ ÃÐÈÂÅÍÜ (TWENTY HRYVNIAS) and issue year indication 2011 (to the right); against the background of cross-shaped ornamental stripes there is the iconographic conventionalized figure of the Peresopnytsia Gospels maker.
Reverse: There are depicted four miniatures of the initial illustrations of each Gospel; between them there are the legends: above 1556 / ð³ê (1556 / year), i.e. the year of work start; below 1561 / ð³ê (1561 / year), i.e. the year of work finish; in the middle there is the conventionalized inscription: ÏÅÐÅÑÎÏÍÈÖÜÊÅ ªÂÀÍÃÅ˲ª (PERESOPNYTSIA GOSPELS).
The coin has been produced with application of greening (patina making) technology. Decoration element – local gilding (gold content 0.001518 g minimum). 925 standard silver. Weight – 62.2 g., diameter – 50.00 mm., edge – smooth with in-depth legend indicating the metal, its fineness, weight in fineness and the Mint logotype. Description: Commemorative coin '150 Years of Ukrainian Railroads'. The coin is dedicated to the 150th anniversary of Ukrainian railroads whose operation began with the arrival of the Yaroslav passenger train in Lviv from Peremyshl (Przemysl). The rail transport is the most instrumental in the transportation system of Ukraine. At present, there are six territorial railroad companies operational in Ukraine.
Obverse: Above there is the Small Coat of Arms of Ukraine with the inscription: ÍÀÖ²ÎÍÀËÜÍÈÉ / ÁÀÍÊ / ÓÊÐÀ¯ÍÈ (NATIONAL / BANK / OF UKRAINE); against the dark background there is depicted a modern high-speed train of the Ukrainian Railways and a part of the rail track; to the left indicated is the coin face value: 20 / ÃÐÈÂÅÍÜ (20 / HRYVNIAS) and to the right – the coin issue year 2011.
Reverse: There is depicted one of the first trains of the Ukrainian railroads; above there is the semicircular inscription: ÓÊÐÀ¯ÍÑÜÊÀ ÇÀ˲ÇÍÈÖß (UKRAINIAN RAILWAYS) with the logotype of the Ukrainian Railways (Ukrzaliznytsia) company thereunder; below there is the inscription: 150 ÐÎʲ (150 YEARS).

Description: Commemorative coin 'UEFA Euro 2012™ Final Tournament'. Series 'Sport'. The coin is dedicated to an important sporting event – the final tournament of the 2012 UEFA European Football Championship – to be hosted by Poland and Ukraine in 2012.
