Description: Jubilee coin 'Sergey Lyfar'. Series 'Outstanding Personalities of Ukraine'. The coin is dedicated to 100th anniversary since the birth of Sergey Mykhailovych Lyfar (1904 – 1986), an outstanding ballet dancer, choreographer, pedagogue and ballet theorist.
Obverse: On the background of a relief square there is a depiction of a dancer's figure as Ikar's character (one of the most famous parts of Lyfar); to the right on the coin glass background there is the small State Emblem of Ukraine and semicircular inscriptions: УКРАЇНА, 2004, 2, ГРИВНІ and the Mint logo of the NBU.
Reverse: There is Serge Lyfar's profile (turned to the right) and inscriptions: СЕРЖ ЛИФАР (beneath) in two lines and 1904 – 1986, his years of life – to the right.
Weight – 12.8 g., diameter – 31.0 mm., edge – incised. Artists: Oksana Teriokhina, Natalia Domovytskykh; sulptors: Sviatoslav Ivanenko, Vladymyr Atamanchuk.
Put in circulation since February 25, 2004. Mintage: 30 000. The coin was struck at the National Bank of Ukraine Mint.

Description: Commemorative coin 'Football World Cup (2006)'. Series 'Sports'. The coin is dedicated to the 2006 FIFA Football World Cup which is to take place in Germany.
Obverse: A ball in the gate net is depicted; above there is the small State Emblem of Ukraine and an inscription: УКРАЇНА; right from the gate there is inscription: 2, ГРИВНІ, 2004 and the Mint logo of the NBU.
Reverse: Upon the background of a gate net, there is a depiction of a football player and a goal-keeper with a ball playing the game; beneath there is inscription: ЧЕМПІОНАТ СВІТУ З ФУТБОЛУ, НІМЕЧЧИНА, 2006.
Weight – 12.8 g., diameter – 31.0 mm., edge – incised. Artists: Vladymyr Taran, Sergei and Aleksander Kharuk; sculptor: Vladymyr Atamanchuk.

Description: Commemorative coin 'Azov Dolphin'. Series 'Flora and Fauna'. The coin is dedicated to a mammalian of cetacean species, a representative of the dolphin family in the fauna of Ukraine, a narrow-areal relic subspecies, the habitat of which is the Black Sea and the Sea of Azov. Azov Dolphin is registered into the Ukraine Red Book and into the European Red-List.
Obverse: Within the frame of a window made of images of some species of flora and fauna there is the small State Emblem of Ukraine is depicted and four-lines inscriptions: УКРАЇНА, 2 ГРИВНІ, 2004 and the Mint logo of the NBU.
Reverse: There are two Azov Dolphins are depicted with air bubbles, beneath – there is a seaweed bush and circular inscriptions: АЗОВКА (right) and PHOECENA PHOECENA RELICTA ABEL (left).
Weight – 12.8 g., diameter – 31.0 mm., edge – incised. Artist and sculptor: Vladymyr Demianenko.

Description: Jubilee coin 'Mykhail Maksymovych'. Series 'Outstanding Personalities of Ukraine'. The coin is dedicated to the 2d birth centenary of Mykhail Maksymovych (03.(15).09. 1804 – 22.11.(04.12). 1873), a naturalist, historian, archeologist, linguist, pedagogue and writer. M.Maksymovich is a person of encyclopaedic learning, one of the founders of the historiography and botany of Ukraine, the first rector of the St.Volodymyr Kyiv University in 1834 – 1835.
Obverse: The building of the University, above – semicircular inscription: УКРАЇНА, beneath it – there is the small State Emblem of Ukraine and year of issue 2004, under it there is semicircular inscription: 2 / ГРИВНІ and the Mint logo of the NBU.
Reverse: There is Mykhail Maksymovych's profile (turned to the left) and inscriptions: МИХАЙЛО (to the left) МАКСИМОВИЧ (to the right), beneath – his years of life 1804 – 1873.
Weight – 12.8 g., diameter – 31.0 mm., edge – incised. Artist: Sergei Beliyaev; sculptor: Vladymyr Atamanchuk.

Description: Jubilee coin 'Maria Zankovetska'. Series 'Outstanding Personalities of Ukraine'. The coin is dedicated to 150th anniversary of Maria Zankovetska, a famous actress, a public figure, one of the founders of the Ukrainian National theatre and the first People's artist of Ukraine (1923).
Obverse: Upon the mirror-like background there is the small State Emblem of Ukraine and inscriptions: УКРАЇНА (above) and 2 ГРИВНІ / 2004 (beneath); in the centre there is a depiction of a stylized flower; to the right this composition is framed with a stage curtain. On the coin obverse there is also the Mint logo of the NBU.
Reverse: In the foreground the portrait of Maria Zankovetska is depicted; on the background there is a stylized flower ornamental pattern; to the left around the circumference there is an inscription: МАРІЯ ЗАНЬКОВЕЦЬКА and beneath 1854 – 1934, her years of life.
Weight – 12.8 g., diameter – 31.0 mm., edge – incised. Artists: Vladymyr Taran, Aleksandr Kharuk, Sergey Kharuk; sculptor: Roman Chaikovskiy.
