Description: Commemorative coin 'Skating Sport'. The coin is dedicated to the XIX Winter Olympic Games of 2000 in Salt Lake City (USA).
Obverse: There is a semicircular depiction of a conventionalized snowflake fragment with an inscription: УКРАЇНА on its relief background and the small State Emblem of Ukraine; to the right, beneath on glass background there are inscriptions: 2, ГРИВНІ, 2002, and the Mint logo of the NBU.
Reverse: On the background there is a silhouette depiction of a skater; to the right on the snowflake relief background there are three-lined inscriptions: ХІХ ЗИМОВІ ОЛІМПІЙСЬКІ ІГРИ, СОЛТ-ЛЕЙК-СІТІ, 2002 (ХІХ WINTER OLYMPIC GAMES, SALT-LAKE-CITY, 2002).
Weight – 12.8 g., diameter – 31.0 mm., edge – incised. Artists: Vladymyr Taran, Sergei Kharuk, Aleksander Kharuk, Vitaliy Kozachenko; sculptors: Sviatoslav Ivanenko, Vladymyr Demyanenko.
Put in circulation since January 30, 2002. Mintage: 30 000. The coin was struck at the National Bank of Ukraine Mint.

Description: Jubilee coin 'Nykolay Lysenko'. The coin is dedicated to 160th anniversary of Nykolay Lysenko, a famous Ukrainian composer, founder of Ukrainian classic music, pianist, pedagogue, chorus conductor, public figure and ethnographer who was born in Hrynki village of Poltava region. The composer's creative work is of great importance for Ukrainian music. He is the author of 9 operas ('Natalka Poltavka', 'Taras Bulba', 'Oneida', 'Christmas night', 'Drowned woman', 'Naughty nanny-goat', etc.).
Obverse: There depicted a music fragment of the 'Prayer for Ukraine' composition (1885), above which there is small State Emblem of Ukraine. At the top there is circular inscription: УКРАЇНА, beneath there are conventionalized flowers and inscriptions: 2, ГРИВНІ, 2002 and the Mint logo of the NBU.
Reverse: There is a depiction of Mykola Lysenko's portrait; around the coin circumference there are inscriptions: МИКОЛА ЛИСЕНКО (MYKOLA LYSENKO) (on the right) and 1842 – 1912, his years of life (on the left).

Description: Commemorative coin 'Swimming'. The coin is dedicated to the XXVIII Summer Olympic Games, which are to take place in Athens (Greece) in 2004.
Obverse: Within a square there is an allegoric depiction of opening ceremony for Olympic Games two female figures dressed in tunics holding in their hands a bowl with a flame and laurel twigs – symbol of peace. Around the square there is a depiction of the small State Emblem of Ukraine and inscriptions: УКРАЇНА (above), 2 ГРИВНІ (beneath), 20 – 02 and the Mint logo of the NBU.
Reverse: Within a square there is a frontal depiction of a swimmer on the background of water. Around the square there are such inscriptions: ІГРИ XXVIII ОЛІМПІАДИ (above), OLYMPIC GAMES XXVIII (beneath), АФІНИ 2004 (to the left), ATHENS 2004 (to the right).

Description: Commemorative coin 'Bubo bubo'. The coin is dedicated to Bubo bubo, a settled and migratory bird – the only representative of this species in the fauna of Ukraine. Its prevailing population is concentrated mostly at the western parts of the country. This species is included to the Ukraine Red Book.
Obverse: Within the window frame, formed by depictions of various species of flora and fauna there is the small State Emblem of Ukraine is depicted and the four-line inscriptions: УКРАЇНА, 2, ГРИВНІ, 2002 and the Mint logo of the NBU.
Reverse: There is a depiction of Bubo bubo, sitting on a oak twig and circular inscriptions: ПУГАЧ and BUBO BUBO.
Weight – 12.8 g., diameter – 31.0 mm., edge – incised. Artist and sculptor Vladymyr Demyanenko.

Description: Jubilee coin 'Leonid Hlibov'. The coin is dedicated to the 175th anniversary of Leonid Hlibov (1827 – 1893), a famous Ukrainian poet, dramatist and literary critic. Beginning from 1863, a number of copies of Hlibov's works are being printed.
Obverse: There are depicted a roll with the small state Emblem of Ukraine, inscriptions: 2002, УКРАЇНА, 2, ГРИВНІ and characters of 'Musicians' fable, as well as the Mint logo of the NBU.
Reverse: There is a half-length portrait of Hlibov sitting at the table with a quill at his hand. Around the coin circumference there are inscriptions: ЛЕОНІД ГЛІБОВ (LEONID HLIBOV) (to the right) and his years of life: 1827 – 1893 (to the left).
