Description: Commemorative coin 'Year of Tiger'. 'Oriental Calendar' series. The coin is dedicated to the Year of a Tiger, one of the animal-symbols of the Oriental calendar, which is based on the twelve months cycle of Jupiter, the largest planet of the Solar system.
Obverse: Within setting made of a vegetable ornamentation in the primitivism technique there are inscriptions: 5 / ÃÐÈÂÅÍÜ (5 / HRYVNIAS); at the top there is the small National Emblem of Ukraine and the inscription: ÍÀÖ²ÎÍÀËÜÍÈÉ ÁÀÍÊ / ÓÊÐÀ¯ÍÈ (NATIONAL BANK OF UKRAINE); beneath: the coin issue year, the designation of metal, its weight in fineness and the NBU Mint logotype.
Reverse: There is a tiger made in a technique of a cheap popular print within a vegetable ornamentation setting (a tiger's eyes are decorated with 0,007 carat citrines.) Both above and below it there is a depiction of contour figures of all 12 symbols of the Oriental calendar.

Description: Commemorative coin 'Ivan Pulyui'. 'Outstanding Personalities of Ukraine' series. The coin is dedicated to Ivan Pavlovych PULIUI (another spelling – Pulyui) (1845 – 1918), an inventor and physicist, who discovered the peculiar properties of the cathode rays, later on rediscovered by Wilhelm Conrad Röntgen and named after him, before the latter. Ivan Puliui was the author of nearly 50 research and popular-science works on physics and electrical engineering written in Ukrainian, German and English. In addition, he was proficient in ancient languages and left a large heritage in the area; together with P.Kulish and I.Nechui-Levytskyi he participated in translation of the Bible into Ukrainian.
Obverse: Above there is the Small Coat of Arms of Ukraine with the semicircular legend: ÍÀÖ²ÎÍÀËÜÍÈÉ ÁÀÍÊ ÓÊÐÀ¯ÍÈ (NATIONAL BANK OF UKRAINE); the composition staple is represented by one of the first (made before 1895) Puliui’s X-ray photographs of a jewelry; below there are bow-shaped inscriptions of the coin face value: 5 ÃÐÈÂÅÍÜ (5 HRYVNIAS) and issue year 2010.
Reverse: There is a portrait of Ivan Puliui, to the left whereof there are the inscriptions: above ²ÂÀÍ / ÏÓËÞÉ / 1845 – 1918 (IVAN / PULIUI) and below – one of his sayings: '...ÍÅÌÀ / Á²ËÜØÎÃÎ / ÃÎÍÎÐÓ / ÄËß / ²ÍÒÅ˲ÃÅÍÒÍÎÃÎ / ×ÎËβÊÀ, / ßÊ ÁÅÐÅÃÒÈ ÑÂÎÞ ² / ÍÀÖ²ÎÍÀËÜÍÓ ×ÅÑÒÜ / ÒÀ ÁÅÇ ÍÀÃÎÐÎÄÈ / ²ÐÍÎ ÏÐÀÖÞÂÀÒÈ / ÄËß ÄÎÁÐÀ ÑÂÎÃÎ / ÍÀÐÎÄÓ, ÙÎÁ / ÇÀÁÅÇÏÅ×ÈÒÈ / ÉÎÌÓ ÊÐÀÙÓ / ÄÎËÞ'. Description: Commemorative coin 'Yevhen Paton'. 'Outstanding Personalities of Ukraine' series. The coin is dedicated to Yevhen Oskarovych PATON (1870 – 1953), a world-famous scientist, founder of Ukrainian schools of bridge engineering and electric welding, outstanding engineer and pedagogue.
Obverse: Above there is the Small Coat of Arms of Ukraine with the semicircular legend: ÍÀÖ²ÎÍÀËÜÍÈÉ ÁÀÍÊ ÓÊÐÀ¯ÍÈ (NATIONAL BANK OF UKRAINE); below there is the composition symbolizing the scholar’s activity in the bridge engineering which represents the Paton Bridge, the first fully welded bridge in Europe, the footbridge over Petrovska Alley and conventionalized Whatman’s paper sheet (to the left); beneath there is the inscription 5 ÃÐÈÂÅÍÜ / 2010 (5 HRYVNIAS).
Reverse: There is a portrait of Yevhen Paton, to the right whereof there is the conventionalized image of electric arc scintillation that appears during the welding; below there are the inscriptions: ªÂÃÅÍ / ÏÀÒÎÍ / 1870 – 1953 (YEVHEN / PATON).

Description: Commemorative coin 'Oksana Petrusenko'. 'Outstanding Personalities of Ukraine' series. The coin is dedicated to Oksana Andriivna Petrusenko (1900 – 1940), an outstanding Ukrainian opera artist, one of the best performers of romances and Ukrainian folk song singers, which had a uniquely expressive voice of a large range and was very gifted with dramatics.
Obverse: Above there is the Small Coat of Arms of Ukraine with the semicircular legend: ÍÀÖ²ÎÍÀËÜÍÈÉ ÁÀÍÊ ÓÊÐÀ¯ÍÈ (NATIONAL BANK OF UKRAINE); below there is depicted a poppy flower against the background of the stave with music notation forming a circle; in the center there is the legend 5 ÃÐÈÂÅÍÜ / 2010 (5 HRYVNIAS).
Reverse: There is a portrait of Oksana Petrusenko dressed in a Ukrainian national costume, to the right whereof there are the inscriptions: the bow-shaped ÎÊÑÀÍÀ ÏÅÒÐÓÑÅÍÊÎ (OKSANA PETRUSENKO) and 1900 / 1940 (the years of her life).

Description: Commemorative coin 'Nikolay Pirogov'. 'Outstanding Personalities of Ukraine' series. The coin is dedicated to Mykola Ivanovych Pyrohov (1810 – 1881), a scientist, surgeon, pedagogue and public figure (transliteration from Russian – Nicolay Ivanovich Pirogov). His innovative scientific works have become the base for the applied anatomy and operative surgery, while his contribution to the development of medicine was marked with a clever combination of the science and practice. Whole life of the great scientist was selfless service to people.
Obverse: Above there is the Small Coat of Arms of Ukraine with the semicircular legend: ÍÀÖ²ÎÍÀËÜÍÈÉ ÁÀÍÊ ÓÊÐÀ¯ÍÈ (NATIONAL BANK OF UKRAINE); within the circle formed by beads there is depicted the sepulchral church erected over the scientist’s tomb; beneath there is the coin issue year indication 2010 and bow-shaped inscription: Ï’ßÒÜ ÃÐÈÂÅÍÜ (5 HRYVNIAS).
Reverse: There is a portrait of Mykola Pyrohov having surgical instruments in his hands, to the left whereof 1810 / 1881 (the years of life) and the bow-shaped legend ÌÈÊÎËÀ ÏÈÐÎÃÎÂ (MYKOLA PYROHOV) below.
