Description: Commemorative coin 'Olga'. The coin is dedicated to the princess Olga (about 910 – 969) – the governor of the Kyiv state in 945 – 964. She carried out the state reform and organized strong points of Kyiv central power and legal procedure throughout the country. She was baptized in Constantinople in 955. Princess Olga used to invite European priests to Kyiv; she was canonized by the Orthodox church.
Obverse: Within the frame of the old-rus ornament of the Princess Olga's sarcophagus from the Tirth church there is the depiction of Small State Emblem of Ukraine and the inscriptions: 2000 / УКРАЇНА / 10 / ГРИВЕНЬ, аs well as designation of metal and its pure weight.
Reverse: On the background of the historical scene depicting Olga being received by the emperor Constantine, there is a ceremonial portrait of Princess Olga and conventionalized inscriptions: ОЛЬГА (OLGA) and 945 – 964 (above) and КНЯЖА УКРАЇНА (PRINCES OF UKRAINE) (beneath).
925 standard silver. Weight – 33.1 g., diameter – 38.61 mm., edge – incised. Artists: Volodymyr Taran, Aleksander Kharuk, Sergei Kharuk and Vitaliy Kozachenko; sculptors: Vladymyr Demyanenko and Vladymyr Atamanchuk.
Put in circulation since January 19, 2000. Mintage: 10 000. The coin was struck at the National Bank of Ukraine Mint.

Description: Commemorative coin 'Petr Sahaidachny'. Commemorative coin is dedicated to the Hetman of the Ukrainian Registered Cossacks in 1614 – 1616 and in 1620 – 1622 Petr Konoshevich Sahaidachny, famous military leader, diplomat, advocate of the national culture and education.
Obverse: There is the composition similar to the whole Series of coins which embodies the National idea of the Unified Ukraine: the small State Emblem of Ukraine is supported by the emblematic figures of Michael the Archistrategos and crowned lion, which are symbols of Kyiv and Lviv Cities. On the coin there are the conventionalized inscriptions: УКРАЇНА, 10, ГРИВЕНЬ, 2000, the designation of precious metal and its pure weight.
Reverse: There is a depiction of the battle scene on the Black Sea, the oval Hetman's portrait, date of his death and a circular conventionalized inscription: ПЕТРО КОНАШЕВИЧ САГАЙДАЧНИЙ (PETRO KONOSHEVICH SAHAIDACHNY).

Description: Commemorative coin 'Potamon Tauricum'. Commemorative coin is dedicated to the relic species – the only representative of Potamon Tauricum in the fauna of Ukraine.
Obverse: There is the small State Emblem of Ukraine in the garland made of various species of flora and fauna; the Mint logo and the inscriptions: УКРАЇНА / 10 / ГРИВЕНЬ / 2000 аs well as designation of metal and its pure weight.
Reverse: There is a depiction of a potamon tauticum and a snail among the aquatic plant and the circular inscriptions: ПРІСНОВОДНИЙ КРАБ, POTAMON TAURICUM.

Description: Commemorative coin Vladymyr the Great'. The coin is dedicated to the Great Kievan Prince and statesman, during whose reign the formation of the old-Rus state was completed and the Christianity as the state religion was introduced.
Obverse: Within the frame of old-rus ornamental pattern there is the Small State Emblem of Ukraine and the conventionalized inscription: 2000 / УКРАЇНА / 10 / ГРИВЕНЬ, as well as the metal standard, its weight and the Mint logo of the NBU.
Reverse: In the foreground there is the depiction of the Prince Volodymyr on the background of the annalistic scene of baptism of the prince himself and the conventionalized inscriptions: 978 ВОЛОДИМИР 1015 (above), КНЯЖА УКРАЇНА (PRINCES OF UKRAINE) (down).

Description: Commemorative coin 'Baptizing of Rus'. The coin is dedicated to the official introduction of Christianity as the state religion. Vladymyr the Great and his nearest milieu adopted Christianity at the beginning of 988. In Spring that year the kievites were baptized. It initiated the process of baptizing of the whole country.
Obverse: Between two angel figures there is the small State Emblem of Ukraine and inscriptions: УКРАЇНА and 10 / ГРИВЕНЬ / 2000, designation of metal, its standard, its weight and the Mint logo.
Reverse in the foreground there is a cruciform composition depicting Prince Volodymyr-the Baptist on the background of the scene of kievites baptizing and the conventionalized inscription: ХРЕЩЕННЯ РУСІ (BAPTIZING OF RUS).
