Description: Jubilee coin '900 years of Novgorod-Siversk Principality'. The coin is dedicated to 900 years of Novgorod-Siversk Principality, founded at the Lyuberetsk congress of old Russian princes.
Obverse: Within a sun circle there are the Small State emblem of Ukraine, disturbed birds and a conventionalized inscription: УКРАЇНА, 5, ГРИВЕНЬ, 1999.
Reverse: Against an old Russian fortress there is a chronicle depiction of prince's fighting men in the campaign and a conventionalized circular inscription: НОВГОРОД-СІВЕРСЬКОМУ КНЯЗІВСТВУ 900 РОКІВ (900 YEARS OF NOVGOROD-SIVERSK PRINCIPALITY).
Weight – 16.54 g., diameter – 35.0 mm., edge – incised. Artist and sculptor: Vladymyr Atamanchuk.
Put in circulation since June 25, 1999. Mintage: 50 000. The coin was struck at the National Bank of Ukraine Mint.

Description: Commemorative coin '500 Years of Magdeburg Right in Kyiv'. The coin is dedicated to commemorate the 500th anniversary of introduction of the Magdeburg Right in Kyiv. Kyiv had been governed by the Magdeburg Right from the early 15th century. One of the charters of the Lithuanian prince Alexander of 1499 confirmed the effect of legal municipal regulations, in accordance with which the towndwellers were governed by the members of the elective self-government and the court. The Magdeburg Right was effective in Kyiv till December 23, 1834.
Obverse: There is a depiction of the Small State Emblem of Ukraine in the ornament created on the motives of the designs of official seals of Kyiv city council of the 17th century. There is the following inscription: УКРАЇНА / 5 / ГРИВЕНЬ / 1999.
Reverse: There is a depiction of the monument to the Magdeburg Right in Kyiv by the architect A. Melensky (1802 – 1808). There are the following inscriptions: МАГДЕБУРЗЬКЕ ПРАВО КИЄВА і 500 РОКІВ (500 YEARS OF MAGDEBURG RIGHT IN KYIV).

Description: Commemorative coin 'Christmas'. According to the Gospel the Cod Son, the founder of the Christian dogma, was born in Bethlehem to Virgin Mary and the Holly Spirit 2 000 years ago.
Obverse: There is the coat of arms of Ukraine between the two figures of angels and the following legends: UKRAINE / 5 HRYVNAS / 1999.
Reverse: The picture of the Bible legend of the birth of Jesus Christ is reproduced in a frame of symbolic geometric figures. The Blessed Virgin with the baby in the aureole of the Bethlehem star is surrounded by Three Wise Men with gifts and the domestic animals.
Weight – 16.54 g., diameter – 35.0 mm., edge – incised. Artist and sculptor – Roman Chaikovsky.
Put in circulation since December 29, 1999. Mintage: 100 000. The coin was struck at the National Bank of Ukraine Mint.
