Description: Commemorative coin 'Ice Dancing'. The coin is dedicated to the XIX Winter Olympic Games of 2000 in Salt Lake City (USA).
Obverse: There is a semicircular conventionalized depiction of a snowflake fragment, upon which there is an inscription: УКРАЇНА and the small State Emblem of Ukraine; to the right at the bottom, on the background of a mirror there are inscriptions: 10, ГРИВЕНЬ, 2001, designation of metal, and its pure weight and the Mint logo of the National Bank of Ukraine.
Reverse: At its left upper part, on the smooth background there is a conventionalized depiction of a dancing couple, at the coin right lower part, on the relief snowflake picture there are inscriptions: ХІХ ЗИМОВІ ОЛІМПІЙСЬКІ ІГРИ, СОЛТ-ЛЕЙК-СІТІ, 2002 (XIX WINTER OLYMPIC GAMES, SALT LAKE CITY, 2000).
925 standard silver. Weight – 33.1 g., diameter – 38.61 mm., edge – incised. Artists: Vladymyr Taran, Aleksander Kharuk, Sergey Kharuk, Vitaliy Kozachenko; sculptor: Vladymyr Demianenko.
Put in circulation since January 30, 2001. Mintage: 15 000. The coin was struck at the National Bank of Ukraine Mint.

Description: Commemorative coin 'Ivan Mazepa'. The coin is dedicated to Ivan Mazepa (1687 – 1709), the Hetman of the left-bank Ukraine, a well-known public and political figure, patron of education and art.
Obverse: There is the composition similar to the whole Series of coins which embodies the National idea of the Unified Ukraine:the small State Emblem of Ukraine is supported by the figures of Michael the Archistrategos and crowned lion, which are symbols of Kyiv and Lviv Cities. On the coin there are the conventionalized inscriptions: УКРАЇНА, 2001, 10, ГРИВЕНЬ, the Mint logo, as well as the designation of precious metal and its pure weight.
Reverse: Within the beads circle there is a portrait of the Hetman with a bulava (Hetman's baton); his family emblem to the right and a cathedral to the left. There are circular conventionalized inscriptions: ІВАН МАЗЕПА (IVAN MAZEPA) and 1644 – 1709.

Description: Commemorative coin 'Yaroslav the Wise'. The coin is dedicated to Yaroslav the Wise (1015 – 1054), the Great Kyivan Prince and statesman, during whose reign the Kyivan Rus had strengthened and expanded its borders; the international position of the state was reinforced; Kyiv became the centre of empire; legal code of Old Rus state was developed.
Obverse: Within the frame of old-rus ornamental pattern recreated from the pattern on the Yaroslav the Wise's sarcophagus, there is the Small State Emblem of Ukraine and the conventionalized inscriptions: 2001, УКРАЇНА, 10, ГРИВЕНЬ, as well as the Mint logo, the metal standard and its weight.
Reverse: There is a depiction of the Yaroslav the Wise, holding the legal code in his hand with two line inscriptions 'ПРАВДА РУСЬСКАЯ' on the background of a mosaic depiction of Orante face (left) and a cathedral (right), as well the two lines conventionalized inscriptions: ЯРОСЛАВ, 1015, МУДРИЙ, 1054 and beneath, in two lines: КНЯЖА УКРАЇНА.

Description: Jubilee coin '10 Years of the National Bank of Ukraine'. The coin is dedicated to the central bank of Ukraine, the only issuing centre of the state, carrying out consistent monetary policy and securing the efficient functioning of the state banking system and stability of the national monetary unit, Hryvnia.
Obverse: Between two ornamental slits there is the Small State Emblem of Ukraine and the four line inscriptions: УКРАЇНА, 2001, 10, ГРИВЕНЬ, as well as the metal designation and its weight and the depiction of the Mint logo of the National Bank of Ukraine.
Reverse: There is the facade depiction of the bank capital building (architects: O.Kobelev and O.Verbytskiy) above which the logo of the National Bank of Ukraine is depicted and the circular inscription: НАЦІОНАЛЬНИЙ БАНК УКРАЇНИ and beneath, in two lines: 10 РОКІВ.

Description: Commemorative coin 'LYNX LYNX'. The coin is dedicated to Lynx lynx, belonging to Carnivore species. This precious furry animal inhabits mostly the Ukrainian Carpathians mountains. Its small population is preserved in forest sections in Manevytskiy district of Volyn region. The animal is registered in the Ukraine Red Book.
Obverse: Within a window frame formed by some species of flora and fauna, there is a depiction of the Small State Emblem of Ukraine and the four line inscriptions: УКРАЇНА, 10, ГРИВЕНЬ, 2001, as well as designation of metal, its weight and on both coins there is the Mint logo of the National Bank of Ukraine.
Reverse: There is a lynx depiction with a lynx-cub sitting on a twig and circular inscriptions: above – РИСЬ ЗВИЧАЙНА, beneath – LYNX LYNX.
