Overhead the composition there is a semicircular inscription: DEUTSCHES REICH * REICHSPFENNIG . Reverse: In the center of a coin a sheaf of wheat between figures of a date of issue, under a sheaf – mint mark 'A' (variants: A, D, E, F, G, J). Reddish bronze (Cu 95%, Sn 4%, Zn 1%). Diameter – 17.5 mm. Weight – 2 g. Edge – smooth, thickness 1.1 mm. Mintage: 40 997 000. Mint mark – Berlin (А). This type of coin has been struck in 1924 – 1925, 1927 – 1936. Withdrawn from circulation since 28.02.1942. Country or town*: Germany
