Description: Commemorative coin 'Scythian Gold'. The coin is dedicated to the Scythian period (7th – 3d centuries B.C.), an extremely important stage in the development of the jeweller's art in the territory of Ukraine. This distinctive jeweller's art was embodied in figures of animals which decorated military munitions, household goods, clothing; etc.
999.9 gold . Weight - 1.24 g., diameter - 13.92 mm., edge - smooth. Artists: Vladymyr Demianenko (obverse), Boris Hrudenko (reverse); sculptors: Vladymyr Demianenko, Roman Chaikovsky.
Put in circulation since April 26, 2005. Mintage: 15 000. The coin was struck at the National Bank of Ukraine Mint.
