Description: Commemorative coin 'Aquila Rapax'. The coin is dedicated to the rare species of falcons which inhabits virgin Ukrainian steppe - Aquila Rapax, the largest number of birds are kept and bred in Askanya Nova Zoo. In 1980 Aquila Rapax has been listed in Ukraine Red Book.
Obverse: The Small State Emblem of Ukraine is surrounded by the garland combined from the images of selected species of Flora and Fauna. The inscriptions in four lines: УКРАЇНА, 10, ГРИВЕНЬ, 1999 and designation of metal, its standard and its pure weight.
Reverse: There is the image of Aquila Rapax in Askanya steppe. Around the circumference, there are inscriptions: ОРЕЛ СТЕПОВИЙ and AQUILA RAPAX.
925 standard silver. Weight – 33.1 g., diameter – 38.61 mm., edge – incised. Artist and sculptor: Vladymyr Demyanenko.
Put in circulation since January 20, 1999. Mintage: 5 000. The coin was struck at the National Bank of Ukraine Mint.

Description: Commemorative coin 'Dmytriy Vyshnevetsky'. The coin is dedicated to Dmytriy Vyshnevetsky, the Prince and Cossack's military leader, who in 1556 built a fortress at the Dnipro River island of Mala Khortytsya and founded Zaporizhya Sich.
Obverse: There is the composition which embodies the National idea of the Unified Ukraine: next to the small State Emblem of Ukraine, the emblematic figures of Michael the Archistrategos and crowned lion are located, which are symbols of Kyiv and Lviv Cities. Circular inscriptions are split by baroque ornamentation: УКРАЇНА, 10 ГРИВЕНЬ, 1999, the designation of precious metal and its pure weight.
Reverse: There is a figure of Vyshnevetsky, with a bow in his hand; to the right, his Family Emblem and the Prince's date of death: 1563 are located. The conventionalized circular inscription says: ДМИТРО ВИШНЕВЕЦЬКИЙ (БАЙДА) (DMYTRO VYSHNEVETSKY (BAYDA)).

Description: Commemorative coin 'Triple Jump'. The coin is dedicated to the forthcoming XXVII Summer Olympic Games in Sidney (Australia) in 2000.
Obverse: Against a background of an unfolded cloth there are a depiction of the Small State Emblem of Ukraine and a five line legend: УКРАЇНА, CITIUS ALTIUS FORTIUS, 10 ГРИВЕНЬ, 1999, the designation of precious metal and its pure weight.
Reverse: There is a depiction of a jumping sportswoman and the inscriptions: СІДНЕЙ 2000 and XXVII ЛІТНІ ОЛІМПІЙСЬКІ ІГРИ (SIDNEY 2000 / XXVII SUMMER OLYMPIC GAMES).

Obverse: Against a background of an unfolded cloth there are a depiction of the Small State Emblem of Ukraine and a five line legend: УКРАЇНА, CITIUS ALTIUS FORTIUS, 10 ГРИВЕНЬ, 1999, the designation of precious metal and its pure weight.
Reverse: There are a depiction of an athlete on parallel bars and a five line legend: XXVII ЛІТНІ ОЛІМПІЙСЬКІ ІГРИ, СІДНЕЙ 2000 (XXVII SUMMER OLYMPIC GAMES / SIDNEY 2000).

Description: Commemorative coin 'Askold'. The coin is dedicated to the Prince Askold (? – 882), a ruler of Kyiv state.
Obverse: Within a frame of an old-Russian pattern ornamental there is depiction of the Small State Emblem of Ukraine and conventionalized inscriptions: УКРАЇНА, 10, ГРИВЕНЬ, 1999, designation of metal and its pure weight.
Reverse: Against a background of an imitated rolls there is a picture of the Prince, who leads his men at arms for a sea campaign. There are the following simple and conventionalized inscriptions on the coin: АСКОЛЬД ІХ ст. and КНЯЖА УКРАЇНА (ASKOLD ІХ CENTURY / PRINCES OF UKRAINE).
