Description: Banknotes without a watermark. Face side: The portrait of Bohdan Khmelnytskyi (1595 – 1657), a hetman of Ukraine (1648 – 1657). Back side: The Illinska (St. Elias) Church in the in the village in Cherkasy region built in 1653 as a Khmelnytskyi family vault. The both sides the banknote are decorated with national ornaments. Dimensions: 133 х 66 mm. The predominant color is light blue. Serial No ВБ 8210125. The banknote was printed on special non-fluorescent paper, but without a multi-tone watermarks in the form of a portrait repeating that on the face side. The note has raised elements; rainbow printing; antiscanning grid; microtext; latent image; visible and invisible security fibers; fluorescent number; relief printing; fluorescent feature; security thread; see-through element; magnetic number; symbol for the partially sighted; orloff printing. Issued on September 1, 1997. Printed by the company 'Thomas De La Rue' (Great Britain). It was withdrawn from circulation and filled up museum collection.
