CHANGE NON-PRECIOUS METALS COINS OF THE SLOVAK REPUBLIC

The Slovak Republic was a quasi-independent national Slovak state which existed from 14 March 1939 to 8 May 1945 as an ally and client state of Nazi Germany. It existed on roughly the same territory as present-day Slovakia. The Slovak Republic was recognized by Germany and several other states.
Jozef Tiso served as the Prime Minister of independent Slovakia from March 14, 1939 until October 26, 1939. On October 26 he became President of Slovakia (separate from the Prime Ministerial office). On October 1, 1939 he officially became the president of the Slovak People's Party.
All coins of the Slovakia from October 1944 to June 1945 were in circulation in occupied territory of Carpatho-Ukraine. Then money of USSR was introduced and all the previous money was withdrawn from circulation.

Monetary system: 1 Koruna = 100 Halierov.

The only year of issue. The coin was in circulation from 14.12.1942 to 31.12.1947. In circulation in Carpatho-Ukraine from October 1944 for June 1945.
