COINS OF KRAKOW GENERAL-GOVERNMENT. 1941 – 1944.

From November, 1939 to June, 1941 Western Ukraine was a part of Ukrainian SSR.
During World War II, a part of Western Ukraine (East Galicia), was incorporated into the General Government and became its fifth district, the Galician District.


Monetary system: 1 Zloty = 100 Groszy.
Coins in circulation: 1, 5, 10, 20, 50 Groszy.

FMM has got unique 50 Groszy zinc coin of General Government. Coin was struck with using the obverse and reverse stamp of Poland coin in 50 Groszy (1923). The coins is, probably, unapproved specimen.

Coin was struck with using the stamp of Republic of Poland coin – obverse of 1 Groszy 1939 and reverse of different years coins.
