Obverse: Inside a circle: 'Nusrad ad-Danya v ad-Din' (Peace and Faith be on our side). Effaced due to on-top mint.
Reverse: Counter-stamp representing the coat of arms of Genoa (a door along with three towers) inside a dotted circle.
Diameter – 18 mm. Weight – 2.00 g.

Reverse: Inside the central circle is the Creed. On the outside in-between two circles the inscription reading 'Coinage al Mahrusa Crimea in the year…' Effaced due to on-top mint.
