Description: Jubilee coin 'Lesya Ukrainka'. The coins is dedicated to 125th anniversary of Lesya Ukrainka (Larysa Petrivna Kosach) – the outstanding Ukrainian poetess and public figure.
Obverse: There is the small State Emblem of Ukraine in the middle of the beads circumference decoration, framed with guelder-rose sprays. Above the State Emblem there is the year of issue. Around the coin circumference there are inscriptions: at the coin upper part – ÍÀÖ²ÎÍÀËÜÍÈÉ ÁÀÍÊ ÓÊÐÀ¯ÍÈ (NATIONAL BANK OF UKRAINE) and at the coin lower part: 200000 ÊÀÐÁÎÂÀÍֲ (200000 KARBOVANETS).
Reverse: Lesya Ukrainka's portrait is depicted. Around the coin circumference there are inscriptions: ËÅÑß ÓÊÐÀ¯ÍÊÀ – to the left and 1871 – 1913 (years of poetess birth and death) – to the right.
Weight – 14.35 g., diameter – 33 mm., edge – incised. Artist: Alexander Ivakhnenko, sculptor: Stefan Novotniy.
Put in circulation since March 1, 1996. Mintage: 100 000. The coin was struck at the Mint of Slovakia. Withdrawn from circulation since September 17, 1996.

Description: Jubilee coin '50th Anniversary of the United Nations'. The coin is dedicated to 50th Anniversary of the United Nations.
Obverse: There is the Small State Emblem of Ukraine in the middle of the beads circumference decoration, framed with guelder-rose sprays. Above the State Emblem there is the year of issue. Around the coins circumference there are inscriptions: ÓÊÐÀ¯ÍÀ (UKRAINE) – at the coins upper part and 200000 ÊÀÐÁÎÂÀÍֲ (200000 KARBOVANETS) – at the lower part.
Reverse: There is the globe with flags of world states upon it and UN-50 emblem. Around the coins circumference, there are inscriptions: NATIONS UNITED FOR PEACE – at the upper part and ÍÀÖ²¯, ÎÁ'ªÄÍÀͲ ÇÀÐÀÄÈ ÌÈÐÓ – at the lower part.
Weight – 28.28 g., diameter – 38.61 mm., edge – incised. Artists: Alexander Ivakhnenko (obverse), John Lobban (reverse); sculptor: John Lobban.
Put in circulation since March 7, 1996. Mintage: 100 000. The coin was struck at the Royal Mint of Great Britain. Withdrawn from circulation since September 17, 1996.

Description: Commemorative Coins '10 years of Chornobyl Disaster'. The coin issued to mark the 10th years of the disaster at the Chornobyl Nuclear Power Plant.
Obverse: There is the Small State Emblem of Ukraine in the middle of the beads circumference decoration, framed with guelder-rose sprays. Above the State Emblem there is the year of issue. Around the coin circumference there are inscriptions: ÓÊÐÀ¯ÍÀ (UKRAINE) at the upper part and 200000 ÊÀÐÁÎÂÀÍֲ (200000 KARBOVANETS).
Reverse: There is a bell depiction in the coin center with the inscription ×ÎÐÍÎÁÈËÜ upon it. Beneath the bell there is a strip with the inscription: 1986 – 1996. On the background there are five flying cranes. Around the coin circumference there is an inscription: ÒÐÀÃÅÄ²ß ÏÎÄÂÈà ÇÀÑÒÅÐÅÆÅÍÍß. Words are separated with dots from one another and from the strip.
Weight – 14.35 g., diameter – 33 mm., edge – incised. Artists: Alexander Ivakhnenko (obverse) and Sergei Minenok (reverse); sculptor: Maria Poldaufova.
Put in circulation since April 25, 1996. Mintage: 250 000. The coin was struck at the Mint of Poland. Withdrawn from circulation since September 17, 1996.

Description: Jubilee coin 'Centennial of Modern Olympic Games'. The coin is dedicated to Centennial of Modern Olympic Games.
Obverse: There is the in the middle the Small State Emblem of Ukraine. To its both sides, there are conventionalized depictions of the stands and leaves of laurels. Above, there is ÓÊÐÀ¯ÍÀ (UKRAINE) inscription, underneath – the year of issue. Underneath, around the coins circumference there is an inscription: 200 000 ÊÀÐÁÎÂÀÍֲ (200 000 KARBOVANETS).
Reverse: There is a fragment of ancient column with Olympic flame over its capital. Above the flame there is an inscription: 1896 – 1996 (dates of the ² and XXVI Modern Olympic Games), as well as the emblem of the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine. Above, to the column left, there is a four line inscription: 100-в××ß Î˲ÌϲÉÑÜÊÈÕ ²ÃÎÐ ÑÓ×ÀÑÍÎÑÒ², underneath – conventionalized leaves of laurels. Coin ground is made up of lines, symbolizing stadium tracks.

Description: Jubilee coin '1st Participation in the Summer Olympic Games'. The coin is dedicated to first participation in the summer Olympic Games.
Obverse: There is the in the middle the Small State Emblem of Ukraine. To its both sides, there are conventionalized depictions of the stands and leaves of laurels. Above, there is ÓÊÐÀ¯ÍÀ (UKRAINE) inscription, underneath – the year of issue. Underneath, around the coins circumference there is an inscription: 200 000 ÊÀÐÁÎÂÀÍֲ (200 000 KARBOVANETS).
Reverse: There is the octahedron in the center, upon which a profile of a young woman with a flower wreath is depicted – symbolic image of Ukraine, taken from the Hryhoriy Narbut's banknote of 1918. Above there are figures of five ancient athletes, underneath – figures of five modern sportsmen. To the octahedron right – there is the emblem of the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine, to its left – two line inscription: ÀÒËÀÍÒÀ XXVI. Above around the coin circumference there is an inscription: ÏÅÐØÀ Ó×ÀÑÒÜ Ó Ë²ÒÍ²Õ Î˲ÌϲÉÑÜÊÈÕ ²ÃÐÀÕ.
