Description: Jubilee coin 'Sophiyivka'. The coin is dedicated to 200th anniversary of Sophiyivka, the Uman dendrological park-reserve of the of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.
Obverse: There is the small State Emblem of Ukraine in the middle of the beads circumference decoration, framed with guilder-rose sprays. Above the State Emblem there is the year of issue. Around the coin circumference there are inscriptions: УКРАЇНА (UKRAINE) – above and two line inscription 2 ГРИВНІ (2 HRYVNIAS) – underneath.
Reverse: At the field's left part there is a fragment of the so-called Levkadia rock-huge granite cliff at the top of which Belveder observation platform is located. When looking at Levkadia rock from the side, its edge reminds on a male profile, which according to the legend is that of the Count Felix Pototskiy, the founder of the park.
Weight – 14.35 g., diameter – 33 mm., edge – incised. Artists: Aleksander Ivakhnenko (obverse), Aleksander and Sergei Kharuk, Vladymyr Taran (reverse); sculptors: Stefan Novotny (obverse) and Dragomyr Zobek (reverse).
Put in circulation since September 16, 1996. Mintage: 30 000. The coin was struck at the Mint of Slovakia in 1996.

Description: Jubilee coin 'The Tithe Church'. The coin is dedicated to 1000th anniversary of the Tithe Church foundation in Kiyv, the first stone temple in Kiyvan Rus.
Obverse: In the middle of the beads circumference decoration, framed with conventionalized vegetal ornament, there is a depiction of the God Mother Odyhitriya with a baby – fragment of a bas-relief over the church portal, preserved until now. Above the God Mother depiction there is the State Emblem of Ukraine. Around the coin circumference there is an inscription УКРАЇНА (UKRAINE), underneath there are the year of issue and in two lines: 2 ГРИВНІ (2 HRYVNIAS). The whole composition is framed with the beads circumference decoration.
Reverse: There are the contours of the Tithe Church reconstructed after professor J.S. Aseyev to underline, that the structure does not exist in reality. These contours are presented with mirror lines on a mat background; they give an impression of emerging from the really existed foundation. On the upper mat coin surface around the coin circumference there are inscriptions: КИЇВ, ДЕСЯТИННА ЦЕРКВА, 996 р., separated from one another with a conventionalized birds depiction. Underneath on the mirror background there is a ribbon with an inscription: ДУХОВНІ СКАРБИ УКРАЇНИ.
