Denomination: 5 Kopiyok
Year: 1992
Material: Acmonital
Description: Double struck coin. Obverse has received two impressions from the working dies in accidentally imperfect alignment.
Obverse: A trident depiction in the centre, i.e. the coat of arms of Ukraine, framed on both sides with an ornament of two oak leaves and two ears of wheat. The inscription above the coat of arms – УКРАЇНА (UKRAINE), and the year of coin mintage beneath it.
Reverse: There is a digital designation of coin denomination, and beneath it – a corresponding inscription of '5 КОПІЙОК' (5 KOPIYOK). The reverse is practically smoothed out. The denomination is framed with a conventionalized wreath of leaves and berries of viburnum.
Diameter – 24.0 mm., thickness – 1.5 mm., weight – 4.28 g. Edge: incised. Artist and sculptor: V. Lopata.
Put in circulation since September 2, 1996. Struck at the Italian Mint.
It was withdrawn from circulation and filled up museum collection.
