Description: Commemorative coin 'Annunciation'. 'Ritual Holidays of Ukraine' series. The coin is dedicated to the Annunciation, one of the important Orthodox holidays, which is marked on April, 7.
Obverse: There is the small National Emblem of Ukraine and a semicircular inscription – ÍÀÖ²ÎÍÀËÜÍÈÉ ÁÀÍÊ ÓÊÐÀ¯ÍÈ (NATIONAL BANK OF UKRAINE), in the centre there is a conventionalized setting of the Gospel, on both sides of which there are lilies, associated with the Virgin Mary. There are also placed the inscriptions: 5 ÃÐÈÂÅÍÜ (5 HRYVNIAS), the coins mintage year (beneath) and the Mint logotype of the NBU.
Reverse: There is a multi-figured composition – a first spring round dance, above – there is the Annunciation scene and the semicircular inscription: ÁËÀÃβÙÅÍÍß (ANNUNCIATION).
Weight – 16.54 g., diameter – 35.0 mm., edge – incised. Artist: – Nykolay Kochubey, sculptors: Sviatoslav Ivanenko, Anatolii Demianenko.

Description: Jubilee coin '600 Years to the city of Chernovtsy'. 'Ancient cities of Ukraine' series. The coin is dedicated to the city of Chernivtsi, an administrative, economic and cultural centre, one of picturesque cities of Ukraine, which is located on both banks of the river Prut in the foothills of the Carpathian Mountains. The first written mention of Chernivtsi was found in the charter of a Moldavian landlord Oleksander Dobryi in 1408, though according to archeological data this settlement above the river Prut was founded much earlier.
Obverse: There is a depiction of a fret lantern (on the right), one of the symbols of the city, a fragment of the conventionalized ornament (on the left), which decorates the roof of Chernivtsi university and above there are: the small National Emblem of Ukraine and inscriptions: ÍÀÖ²ÎÍÀËÜÍÈÉ ÁÀÍÊ ÓÊÐÀ¯ÍÈ, 5 ÃÐÈÂÅÍÜ, 2008 (NATIONAL BANK OF UKRAINE, 5 HRYVNIA, 2008) and the NBU Mint logotype.
Reverse: There is depicted a composition made of the outstanding historical and architectural monuments of the city and the inscription: ×ÅÐͲÂÖ² (Chernivtsi), beneath – 600 ÐÎʲ (600 YEARS).

Description: Jubilee coin '850 Years to the city of Sniatyn'. 'Ancient cities of Ukraine' series. The coin is dedicated to Sniatyn, a picturesque town in the historical region of Pokuttia situated on the left bank of the Prut River and a district centre of the Ivano-Frankivsk oblast. For the first time Sniatyn was mentioned in 1158 as a town of the Principality of Halych (Galicia) in the Hypatian Chronicle; in 1448 the town was granted Magdeburg Rights.
Obverse: There is the image of the horseman, the voivode Kostiantyn Siroslavovych, the town founder; on the right and on the left there is a conventionalized Pokuttian ornament; above there is the Small National Emblem of Ukraine and the inscription ÍÀÖ²ÎÍÀËÜÍÈÉ ÁÀÍÊ ÓÊÐÀ¯ÍÈ (NATIONAL BANK OF UKRAINE); the legend 5 ÃÐÈÂÅÍÜ 2008 (5 HRYVNIAS 2008) is below, as well as the logotype of the NBU Mint (on the right).
Reverse: there is a conventionalized composition: to the left – the Town Hall building and the town coat of arms; to the right – a detail of the architectural design of the Town Hall building with the eagle sculpture; above there is the inscription ÑÍßÒÈÍ (SNIATYN) and below – 850 / ÐÎʲ (850 YEARS).

Description: Commemorative coin 'Christianization of Kievan Rus'. '2000 Years of Christmas' series. The coin is dedicated to the 1020th anniversary of the Christianization of Kievan Rus, which gained a footing for Christianity to become the state religion.
Obverse: There is the Small National Emblem of Ukraine and the circular inscriptions ÍÀÖ²ÎÍÀËÜÍÈÉ ÁÀÍÊ ÓÊÐÀ¯ÍÈ (NATIONAL BANK OF UKRAINE) (above) and 5 ÃÐÈÂÅÍÜ (5 HRYVNIAS) (below) placed against the background of conventionalized ornament, between them there is the year of coin issue and the logotype of the NBU Mint. In the coin center in the circle of conventionalized rays there is a cross and the semi-circular inscriptions ÏÐÀÂÎÑËÀÂ’ß (ORTHODOXY) (above) and ²Ç ÊȪÂÀ ÏÎ ÂÑ²É ÐÓѲ (FROM KYIV ALL OVER RUS) (below).
Reverse: There is a multi-figure composition of baptism with the inscription 988 / Ð²Ê (988 / YEAR) below and the semi-circular inscription – ÕÐÅÙÅÍÍß ÊȯÂÑÜÊί ÐÓѲ (CHRISTIANIZATION OF KIEVAN RUS) above.

Description: Jubilee coin '175 years of the State Arboretum 'Trostianets'. 'Flora and Fauna' series. The coin is dedicated to a unique world-famous monument of landscape architecture of the XIXth century situated in the south-east part of the Chernihiv Oblast. The Arboretum was created thanks to the efforts of Ivan Mykhailovych Skoropadskyi and at his own expense using the methods of artificial terrain formation. The unique collections of introduced woody plants of the Arboretum have been included in the State Register of Scientific Importance Sites being the national patrimony of Ukraine.
Obverse: There are: the mirror image of swans against the background of wavy water, the face value 5 ÃÐÈÂÅÍÜ (5 HRYVNIAS) on the left above, the Small National Emblem of Ukraine and the semicircular legend ÍÀÖ²ÎÍÀËÜÍÈÉ ÁÀÍÊ ÓÊÐÀ¯ÍÈ (NATIONAL BANK OF UKRAINE) on the right, the coin issue year 2008 as well as the logotype of the NBU Mint beneath.
Reverse: There is, against the background of a pond and a park images, the portrait bust of the arboretum founder with the legend ²ÂÀÍ ÑÊÎÐÎÏÀÄÑÜÊÈÉ (IVAN SKOROPADSKYI) / 1804 – 1887 thereunder, the inscription 175 / ÐÎʲ (YEARS) is to the left and the crescent legends ÄÅÐÆÀÂÍÈÉ ÄÅÍÄÐÎËÎò×ÍÈÉ ÏÀÐÊ (STATE ARBORETUM) on the left and ÒÐÎÑÒßÍÅÖÜ (TROSTIZNETS) above.
