Description: Commemorative coin 'Coins of Ukraine'. The coin is dedicated to the currency reform in Ukraine and introdaction of the national currency – the hryvnia and kopiika – 1/100 of it.
Obverse: There is the Small State Emblem of Ukraine in the middle of the beads circumference decoration, framed with guelder-rose sprays. Above the State Emblem there is the year of issue. Around the coin circumference there is the inscription: НАЦІОНАЛЬНИЙ БАНК УКРАЇНИ (NATIONAL BANK OF UKRAINE). Under the State Emblem there is a two line inscription: ДВІ ГРИВНІ (TWO HRYVNIAS).
Reverse: There are depictions of change coins of 1, 2, 5, 10, 25, 50 Kopiyka – and 1 Hryvnia denominations. Above there is a two line iscription: МОНЕТИ УКРАЇНИ (COINS OF UKRAINE).
Weight – 12.8 g., diameter – 31 mm., edge – incised. Artist: Aleksander Ivakhnenko; sculptor: Nadejda Mitina.
Put in circulation since March 12, 1997. Mintage: 250 000. The coins to the mintage of 200 000 pieces were struck at the Luhansk machine-tool plant in 1996, and the rest – at the National Bank of Ukraine Mint in 1998.

Description: Jubilee coin 'Yuri Kondratyuk'. The coin is dedicated to 100th anniversary of Yuri Kondratyuk (Olexander Gnatovich Shargey), the famous Ukrainian scientist in the field of space exploration and wind energy, one of the pioneers of rocketry and theory of space flights.
Obverse: Against a background of the ancient map of star sky there is the Small State Emblem of Ukraine. Above the State Emblem there is the year of issue. Above, around the coin circumference there is the inscription: УКРАЇНА (UKRAINE) and 2 ГРИВНІ (2 HRYVNIAS) under it.
Reverse: There are a portrait of the scientist and the so-called 'Kondratyuk's route', the scheme of spaceship flight to the Moon, its landing on the Moon's surface and return to the Earth. Over the Kondratyuk's portrait and at the left from it, there are conventionalized star depictions, under the portrait there are inscriptions: 1897 – 1942, year of the scientist's birth and death at the front by Moscow. Around the coin circumference there are inscriptions: ЮРІЙ КОНДРАТЮК (YURI KONDRATYUK) – above and ОЛЕКСАНДР ШАРГЕЙ (OLEXANDER SHARGEY) – underneath in brackets.
Weight – 14.35 g., diameter – 33 mm., edge – incised. Artists: Nykolay Kotchubey and Anatoliy Snizhko; sculptors: Dragomyr Zobek (obverse) and Stefan Novotny (reverse).
Put in circulation since June 17, 1997. Mintage: 20 000. The coin was struck at the Mint of Slovakia.

Description: Jubilee coin 'Solomiya Krushelnytska'. The coin is dedicated to 125th anniversary of Solomiya Krushelnytska, a famous Ukrainian singer (1872 – 1952).
Obverse: There is the small State Emblem of Ukraine in the middle of the beads circumference decoration, framed with guelder-rose sprays. Above the State Emblem there is the year of issue. Around the coin circumference there are inscriptions: УКРАЇНА (UKRAINE) – above and 2 ГРИВНІ (2 HRYVNIAS) – underneath in two lines. The inscriptions are separated from one another with decorative signs.
Reverse: There is a depiction of Solomiya Krushelnytska' profile portrait. Around the coin circumference there are inscriptions: СОЛОМІЯ КРУШЕЛЬНИЦЬКА (SOLOMIYA KRUSHELNYTSKA) – above and 1872 – 1952, years of birth and death-underneath.
Weight – 14.35 g., diameter – 33 mm., edge – incised. Artist: Valeriy Shvetzov, sculptor: Stefan Novotny.
Put in circulation since November 12, 1997. Mintage: 20 000. The coin was struck at the Mint of Slovakia.

Description: Commemorative coin '1st Anniversary of the Constitution of Ukraine'. The coin is dedicated to the principal Law of Ukraine, adopted on June 28,1996 at the 5-th Session of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
Obverse: There is the small State Emblem of Ukraine in the middle of the beads circumference decoration, framed with guilder-rose sprays. Above the State Emblem there is the year of issue. Around the coin circumference there are inscriptions: УКРАЇНА (UKRAINE) – above and two line inscription 2 ГРИВНІ (2 HRYVNIAS) – underneath. The inscriptions are separated from one another with decorative signs.
Reverse: There is a depiction of octahedron with a three line inscription: 28 ЧЕРВНЯ 1996. (JUNE 28, 1996). Above the octahedron there is a heraldic ornamentation. The whole composition is framed with beads ornamentation. Around the coin circumference there is inscription: ПЕРША РІЧНИЦЯ КОНСТИТУЦІЇ УКРАЇНИ (1st ANNIVERSARY OF THE CONSTITUTION OF UKRAINE).
