Denomination: 50 Kopiyok
Year: 1994
Material: Brass
Description: The coin of a more light than normal weight.
Obverse: A trident depiction in the centre, i.e. the coat of arms of Ukraine, framed on both sides with an ornament of two oak leaves and two ears of wheat. The inscription above the coat of arms – УКРАЇНА (UKRAINE), and the year of coin mintage beneath it.
Reverse: There is a digital designation of coin denomination, and beneath it – a corresponding inscription of '50 КОПІЙОК' (50 KOPIYOK). The denomination is framed with a conventionalized wreath of leaves and berries of viburnum.
Diameter – 23 mm., thickness – 1 mm. (standard – 1.55 mm.), weight – 3.13 g. (standard – 4.2 g.). Edge: with grained sectors. Artist and sculptor: V. Lopata.
Struck at the Luhansk Machine-Tool Plant (Ukraine).
It was withdrawn from circulation and filled up museum collection.
