OCCUPATION SOVIET PAPER NOTES FOR HUNGARY, ISSUED IN THE USSR. 1944.

In 1944 were issued banknotes printed in the USSR for use in territory of the Hungary. Banknotes were introduced in denominations of 1, 2, 5, 10, 20, 50, 100 and 1000 Pengö.
Soviet paper notes were in officially circulation in Zakarpatye area till the beginning of 1945.

Description: Face side: The background of the note is ornamented. In the each corner of the ornamented background – face value 20, below semicircular inscription: AVöröshadsereg Parancsnoksága (The Red Army command), and face value: HÚSZ PENGÖ. Under face value in four lines – information about emission. Beneath, to the left and to the right – 6 digit serial number BB 593247, below – warning about punished for falsification of banknotes and year of issue '1944'.
Back side: The background of the note is ornamented, there are three vignettes with face value. At the top – semicircular inscription: AVÖRÖSHADSEREG / PARANCSNOKSÁGA, below – face value: HÚSZ PENGÖ. In the each corner of the ornamented background – face value 20 in vignette.
Issued in 1944. Printed in USSR. Dimensions: 169 х 82 mm. 6 digit serial number, red color, the series is designated by two capital letters.
In Zakarpatye Ukraine the banknote was in circulation from September 23, 1944 till the beginning of 1945.
There is the banknote of the same design without serial number.

Description: Face side: The background of the note is ornamented. In the upper corners there is face value 50 by big figures, in the bottom corners – be small figures. At the top there is inscription: AVÖRÖSHADSEREG PARANCSNOKSÁGA, below face value: ÖTVEN PENGÖ over figure 50. To the left and to the right – 6 digit serial number BM 643936 and information about emission (to the left) and warning about punished for falsification of banknotes (to the right). Below – year of issue '1944'.
Back side: The background of the note is ornamented. In the center there is vignette with face value: ÖTVEN PENGÖ. To the left and to the right – face value in vignette.
Issued in 1944. Printed in USSR. Dimensions: 181 х 87 mm. 6 digit serial number, red color, the series is designated by two capital letters.

Below – information about emission and 6 digit serial number AA 930162 (to the left), under it in two lines – warning about punished for falsification of banknotes and year of issue '1944'.
Back side: The background of the note is ornamented. In the center there is rosette with face value 100. to the left and to the right – face value: SZÁZ. In the bottom part of the note in five lines there is information about emission and warning about punished for falsification of banknotes. Below – year of issue '1944'.
Back side: The background of the note is ornamented. In the center there is rosette with face value in two lines: 1000 / EZER PENGÖ.
Issued in 1944. Printed in USSR. Dimensions: 195 х 104 mm. 6 digit serial number, red color, the series is designated by two capital letters.
