OCCUPATION SOVIET PAPER NOTES FOR POLAND, ISSUED IN THE USSR. 1944.

These paper notes were printed by the Soviet Goznak for use in territory of the Poland. The banknotes have word 'Obowiazkowym", not 'Obowiazkowe' like the banknotes of the Polish issue.

Description: Face side: In the upper corners of the ornamented background there is face value 20 in vignette. Between them – semicircular inscription: NARODOWY BANK POLSKI, in the center – ornamented vignette with coat of arms and face value in two lines: DWADZIEŚA ZŁOTYCH. Beneath it there is the text: Przyjmowanie we wszystkich wypłatach jest obowiązkowym, under it – issuer information and year of issue 1944. To the left and to the right there is face value – 20. In the bottom corners of the note there is 6 digit serial number СВ 618167.
Back side: In the upper corners of the ornamented background there is face value 20 in vignette, between them – semicircular inscription: NARODOWY BANK POLSKI. In the center there is the frame with face value in three lines: 20 DWADZIEŚA ZŁOTYCH. Beneath – year of issue 1944.
Issued in 1944. Printed in USSR. Dimensions: 170 х 85 mm. Watermark: 'triangles'. 6 digit serial number, red color, the series is designated by two capital letters.
Banknote put in circulation in 1944, withdrawn from circulation in the end of 1950.

Description: Face side: In the center part of the not ornamented background there is ornamented vignette, above – semicircular inscription: NARODOWY BANK POLSKI, beneath – coat of arms, under it – face value in two lines: PIĘĆDZIESIĄT ZŁOTYCH. To the left and to the right there is face value – 50. Beneath it there is the text: Przyjmowanie we wszystkich wypłatach jest obowiązkowym, under it – issuer information and year of issue 1944. In the bottom corners of the note there is 6 digit serial number ТО 426096.
Back side: In the center part of the not ornamented background there is ornamented vignette, in the upper corners of it there is face value 50, between them – semicircular inscription: NARODOWY BANK POLSKI. Beneath there is the face value: 50 PIĘĆDZIESIĄT ZŁOTYCH.
Issued in 1944. Printed in USSR. Dimensions: 180 х 95 mm. Watermark: 'triangles'. 6 digit serial number, red color, the series is designated by two capital letters.

Between them there is ornamental design with face value 100. Beneath it there is semicircular inscription: NARODOWY BANK POLSKI, under it – face value in two lines: STO ZŁOTYCH. Beneath it there is the text: Przyjmowanie we wszystkich wypłatach jest obowiązkowym, issuer information and year of issue 1944. To the left and to the right there is 6 digit serial number ХК 531593. In the bottom corners of the note there is the face value 100.
