Prison Camp Payment Certificates (1940 – 1944).
PAYMENT CERTIFICATES
OF PRISON CAMPS AND CONCENTRATION CAMPS, 1940 – 1944.
Prison Camps and Concentration Camps payment certificates were intended as legal tender within the services during World War II.
The paper notes of these types were only used on territory of prison camps and concentration camps.

In the left part of paper note there is inscription: KRIEGSGEFANGENEN LAGERGELD, on the right there is series number, 7 digit serial, the series is designated by 1 figure. Beneath there is inscription: GUTFCHEIN ÜBER 1 REICHCPFENNIG. Under it – issuer information, on the left bottom corner there is the eagle with the open wings holds in paws a wreath from oak leaves with a swastika. In the center – signature of Commander-in-chief of Armed Forces.
