REICH’S CREDIT TREASURY NOTES ISSUED BY REICHSKREDITKASSEN (HAUPTVERWALTUNG DER REICHSKREDITKASSENSCHEIN)
IN 1940 – 1944.

These paper notes were legal tender alongside the currency of the country in numerous occupied countries and territories during World War II, such as Belgium, Denmark, Luxemburg, Norway, the Netherlands, France, Poland, USSR and its republics – Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Byelorussia, Ukraine, Moldavia, Crimea. These Credit Treasury notes were issued in Berlin. All inscriptions of this issue in German.

Description: Reich’s Credit Treasury Note.
Face side: On the ornamented background there is denomination: FÜNFZIG REICHSPFENNIG is marked in letters, beneath, on the left and on the right there is denomination '50' in circle frame. Under it – there is serial number. On the left there is the circle dark-green stamping: the eagle with the open wings holding swastika and inscription: REICHSKREDITKASSENSCHEIN, on the right there is the relief stamping: the eagle with the open wings holding swastika and inscription: HAUPTVERWALTUNG DER REICHSKREDITKASSENSCHEIN.
Back side: On the ornamented background on the left and on the right there is denomination is marked in letters, in the center – denomination: 50 REICHSPFENNIG.
Dimension: 90 x 57 mm (FMM paper note – 89 x 56 mm). Watermark: stars within rounded pattern. Series 298, Serial No 529045, red color. The background colors are green on tan, print color is green.
The series is designated by figure from 1 to 330, 6 digit serial, all signs of serial number have the identical size.

Face side: On the ornamented background there is denomination: EINE REICHSMARK is marked in letters, beneath, on the left and on the right there is denomination '1' in circle frame. On the right upper corner – there is serial number. On the left there is the circle dark-green stamping: the eagle with the open wings and swastika and inscription: REICHSKREDITKASSENSCHEIN. The background colors are brown and olive, print color is black.
Back side: On the ornamented background on the left and on the right there is denomination: 1 REICHSMARK is marked in letters.
Dimension: 95 x 60 mm (FMM paper note – 95 x 59 mm). Watermark: embossed stamp. Series 298, Serial No 529045, red color. The background colors are brown and dark-olive, print color is brown.
The series is designated by figures, all signs of serial number have the identical size.
There are:
1. With relief printing (circle inscription 'HAUPTVERWALTUNG DER REICHSKREDITKASSENSCHEIN'), 6 digit serial, series 1 – 480.

Beneath, on the left is the circle black stamping: the eagle with the open wings holding swastika and inscription: REICHSKREDITKASSENSCHEIN. On the right upper corner – there is serial number. The background colors are green and brown, print color is black-olive.
Back side: On the ornamented background there is the denomination: 2 REICHSMARK. Dimensions: 110 x 65 mm. Watermark: embossed stamp. The background colors are grayish brown and blue-black, print color is green-black. Series K, Serial No 6213028, red color.
The series is designated by 1 letter, all signs of serial number have the identical size.

Beneath, on the left is the circle black stamping: the eagle with the open wings holding swastika and inscription: REICHSKREDITKASSENSCHEIN. Under there is serial number. The background colors are brown and blue, print color is blue-black.
Back side: There is Berlin guardhouse (XIX century) in circle vignette. On the left and on the right there is denomination '5'.
Dimensions: 125 x 70 mm (FMM paper note – 126 x 70 mm). Watermark: embossed stamp. The background color is brown, print color is blue-black. Series N, Serial No 7075552, red color.
The series is designated by 1 letter, all signs of serial number have the identical size.
