SHADIBEG KHAN. AH 802 – 810 / 1400 – 1408.

Shadibeg, Khan of the Golden Horde (1400 – 1408). After the death of his cousin; Temur Qutlugh, Shadibeg was enthroned (with the help of Edigu) as Khan of the Golden Horde in 1400.
The same year, Edigu went to Siberia to exact revenge on Toqtamysh. During Edigu's absence Shadibeg tried to strengthen his power over the Horde, but when Edigu returned he dethroned Shadibeg and enthroned his brother, Pulad Khan in his place. Shadibeg escaped to the Caucasus mountains were he died.
