Description: Commemorative coin 'Ski'. The coin is dedicated to the XVIII Winter Olympic Games in Nagano (Japan), the participant of which was the Olympic team of Ukraine.
Obverse: At the center, there is Small State Emblem of Ukraine; at its sides, there are depictions of snow-flakes and designations, the symbol of the precious metal and its weight. Above the State Emblem there is the year of coin issue. Around the circumference there is a legend: УКРАЇНА and 10 ГРИВЕНЬ, in two lines.
Reverse: There is a picture of a skier against a background of decorative tracks. Around the circumference there is an inscription: ХVІІІ ЗИМОВІ ОЛІМПІЙСЬКІ ІГРИ НАГАНО (18TH WINTER OLYMPIC GAMES IN NAGANO), split with snow-flakes.
925 standard silver. Weight – 33.1 g., diameter – 38.61 mm., edge – incised. Artist: Yuriy Bondarenko; sculptor: Svyatoslav Ivanenko.
Put in circulation since February 12, 1998. Mintage: 7 500. The coin was struck at the National Bank of Ukraine Mint.

Description: Jubilee coins 'Ascania Nova Reserve'. The coin is dedicated to 100 Years of foundation of 'Ascania Nova Reserve', the first in Ukraine steppe reserve, the founder of which was Fridrich Falz-Fain.
Obverse: There is a depiction of the Small State Emblem of Ukraine against a background of a steppe landscape, combined from some species of local flora and fauna. Above the State Emblem, there is an inscription: УКРАЇНА and 1998. Under the picture there are the following designations: 10 ГРИВЕНЬ (in two lines); coin weight (at the left) and symbol of the precious metal.
Reverse: There is a composition, combined from a depiction of a stone steppe idol and a dynamic group of animals-inhabitants of the Reserve. Above the picture, around the circumference there is an inscription: АСКАНІЯ-НОВА (ASCANIA NOVA). At the composition lower part, there is a depiction of Falz-Fain's family emblem and a circumference inscription: 100 РОКІВ (100 YEARS).

Description: Commemorative coin 'Kyi'. The coin is dedicated to the Prince Kyi, a legendary founder of the city of Kyiv and Kyiv state at the end of 5th – beginning of 6th centuries.
Obverse: Within a frame of an old Russian-like interpreted pattern ornamental with an arched talisman of 12th century, which represented the model of universe among eastern Slavs, there is the small State Emblem of Ukraine and the conventionalized four-line inscriptions: УКРАЇНА, 10 ГРИВЕНЬ, 1998 and the symbol of the precious metal, its fineness and weight.
Reverse: Against a background of an imitated roll there is a three-view composition, combined from a depiction of Prince Kyi, figures of three brothers-riders and a woman (Kyi, Shchek, Khoryv and their sister Lybid) and on the background there is a fortress upon the hill. There is a conventionalized legend on the coin: КИЙ (KYI) (above) and КНЯЖА УКРАЇНА (PRINCES OF UKRAINE) underneath in two line).
925 standard silver. Weight – 33.1 g., diameter – 38.61 mm., edge – incised. Artists: Vladymyr Taran, Aleksander Kharuk, Sergei Kharuk and Vitaliy Kozachenko; sculptors: Vladymyr Demiyanenko (obverse) and Vladymyr Atamanchuk (reverse).
Put in circulation since 29 June, 1998. Mintage: 10 000. The coin was struck at the National Bank of Ukraine Mint.
