Description: Jubilee coin 'Lesya Ukrainka'. The coins is dedicated to 125th anniversary of Lesya Ukrainka (Larysa Petrivna Kosach) – the outstanding Ukrainian poetess and public figure.
Obverse: There is the small State Emblem of Ukraine in the middle of the beads circumference decoration, framed with guelder-rose sprays. Above the State Emblem there is the year of issue. Around the coin circumference there are inscriptions: at the coin upper part – НАЦІОНАЛЬНИЙ БАНК УКРАЇНИ (NATIONAL BANK OF UKRAINE) and at the coin lower part: 1000000 КАРБОВАНЦІВ (1000000 KARBOVANETS). Under the guelder-rose sprays there are designations of Аg 925 and coin's pure weight.
Reverse: Lesya Ukrainka's portrait is depicted. Around the coin circumference there are inscriptions: ЛЕСЯ УКРАЇНКА – to the left and 1871 – 1913 (years of poetess birth and death) – to the right.
925 standard silver. Weight – 15.55 g., diameter – 33 mm., edge – incised. Artist: Aleksander Ivakhnenko, sculptor: Stefan Novotniy.
Put in circulation since April 10, 1996. Mintage: 10 000. The coin was struck at the Mint of Slovakia. Withdrawn from circulation since September 17, 1996.

Description: Jubilee coin 'Bohdan Khmelnytsky'. The coins are dedicated to 400th anniversary of Bohdan Khmelnytsky (1595 – 1657) – the Hetman of Ukraine, political and military figure of 17th century, who made contribution to the formation of Ukrainian statehood.
Obverse: There is the small State Emblem of Ukraine in the middle of the beads circumference decoration, framed with guelder-rose sprays. Above the State Emblem there is the year of issue. Around the coin circumference there are inscriptions: УКРАЇНА (UKRAINE) – above and 1 МІЛЬЙОН КАРБОВАНЦІВ (1 MILLION KARBOVANETS) – underneath in three lines. Left and right from figure '1' there are designations of Аg 925 and coin's pure weight.
Reverse: In the center there is the photographic picture of Bohdan Khmelnytsky monument at the Sophia square in Kyiv. Around the circumference there are inscriptions: БОГДАН ХМЕЛЬНИЦЬКИЙ and 1595 – 1657 (against a background of the pedestal).
925 standard silver. Weight – 15.55 g., diameter – 33 mm., edge – incised. Artists: Aleksander Ivakhnenko (obverse) and Anatoliy Ponomarenko (reverse); sculptors: Aleksander Khazov (obverse) and Vyacheslav Kharlamov (reverse).
Put in circulation since June 21, 1996. Mintage: 10 000. The coin was struck at the Moscow Mint. Withdrawn from circulation since September 17, 1996.

Description: Commemorative coin 'Hryhoriy Skovoroda'. The coin is dedicated to Hryhoriy Skovoroda (1722 – 1794), a great Ukrainian philosopher and scientist of the 18th century.
Obverse: There is the small State Emblem of Ukraine in the middle of the beads circumference decoration, framed with guelder-rose sprays. Above the State Emblem there is the year of issue. Around the coin circumference there are inscriptions: УКРАЇНА (UKRAINE) – above and 1 МІЛЬЙОН КАРБОВАНЦІВ (1 MILLION KARBOVANETS) – underneath in three lines. Left and right from figure '1' there are designations of Аg 925 and coin's pure weight.
Reverse: There is a portrait of Hrygoriy Skovoroda. The imprint of Skovoroda's personal seal is to the portrait's left. Around the coin circumference there are inscriptions: ГРИГОРІЙ СКОВОРОДА – to the left and 1722 – 1794 (years of Skovoroda's birth and death) to the right.
925 standard silver. Weight – 15.55 g., diameter – 33 mm., edge – incised. Artists: Aleksander Ivakhnenko, Tatiana Prokhorova; sculptors: Aleksander Khazov, Viacheslav Kharlamov.

Description: Jubilee coin 'Mykhaylo Hrushevsky'. The coin is dedicated to 130th anniversary of Myhaylo Hrushevsky (1866 – 1934), the Ukrainian scientist, historian, academician, public and political figure, first president of the Ukrainian People's Republic in 1917 – 1918.
Obverse: There is the small State Emblem of Ukraine in the middle of the beads circumference decoration, framed with guelder-rose sprays. Above the State Emblem there is the year of issue. Around the coin circumference there are inscriptions: УКРАЇНА (UKRAINE) – above, and three line inscription 1 МІЛЬЙОН КАРБОВАНЦІВ (1 MILLION KARBOVANETS) – underneath. Beneath the guelder-rose sprays there are designations of Аg 925 and coin's pure weight.
Reverse: In the centre there is a portrait of M.Hrushevsky, left on the background – the Central Rada House (now Teacher's House), where the first president of the Ukrainian People's Republic worked in 1917 – 1918. Around the coins circumference there are inscriptions: МИХАЙЛО ГРУШЕВСЬКИЙ – to the right, and 1866 – 1934 (years of Hrushevsky's birth and death).
