Description: Souvenir 'Legal Tender of Ukraine". '1 Hryvnia' souvenir in the form of a silver plate reproduces 1 Hryvnia denomination banknote issued by the National Bank of Ukraine with a portrait of Vladymyr Sviatoslavovych (the Grate) who was a Grand Duke of Kyiv. He was one of the most prominent statesmen of Ukraine – Rus, who adopted Christianity as the state relogion, united and consolidated Kyivan Rus, stabilized its state and organization forms, secured its leading role in the Eastern Europe. Face side: The portrait of Vladymyr The Great, Grand Prince of Kyiv (980 – 1015). Governor of the National Bank of Ukraine S.L.Tigipko. Back side: The ruins of Chersonesus (Korsun in the old Rus annals). 999.9 silver. Dimensions: 133 x 66 x 1.35 mm. Weight – 124.4 g. Mintage: 2 000. Series СЛ, № 1862.
