Description: Face side: Ornamented background divided on three parts. In the left and the right parts – ornamented pattern with stamping of Reichsbankdirektorium in the center. In the central part – denomination 20 in circle on the coat of arms of German Empire. To the left and to the right – two man with cornucopias. On the background of the coat of arms there is sign of issue – uppercase letters, beneath – abbreviation of Reichsbankdirektorium – RBD, over it – inscription in 6 lines: REICHSBANKNOTE. / ZWANZIG MARK / ZAHLT DIE REICHSBANKHAUPTKASSE IN BERLIN / GEGEN DIESE BANKNOTE DEM EINLIEFER / BERLIN, DEN 4. NONEMBER 1915. / REICHSBANKDIREKTORIUM. Beneath – signatures and issuer information. On the left and right upper corners – series number.
Back side: On the background – two figures on octahedrons: a man (allegory of labor) to the left and woman (allegory of peace). In the center – denomination in two lines: 20 M. In the bottom part of side – issuer information. To the left and to the right – vertical series number.
Issued in 04.11.1915. The predominant color is blue.
7 digit serial. Signs of issue – uppercase letters A – H, J – L, N, O, series A – Н.
