Description: Face side: In the center – abbreviation of Reichsbankdirektorium – RBD, in the right upper corner – issuer information on the background of the uppercase letter L. In the center of the ornamented background there are inscriptions in 6 lines: REICHSBANKNOTE. / ZWANZIG MARK / ZAHLT DIE REICHSBANKHAUPTKASSE IN BERLIN OHNE / LEGITIMATIONSPRÜFUNG DEM EINLIEFERER DIEFER BANKNOTE. / BERLIN, DEN 9. FEBRUAR 1914. / REICHSBANKDIREKTORIUM. Beneath it – six signatures. To the left and to the right of signatures – two ornamented vignettes divided figures 20. On the left and on the right borders – there is red serial number.
Back side: In the center of the background – denomination 20 in vignette. Above and beneath it – serial number. To the left and to the right – issuer information. On the left side of the banknote – blue security fibers.
Issued in 19.02.1914. Dimensions: 137 õ 90 mm. Watermark: 'geometrical ornament, MARK'. The predominant color is blue.
Serial number Ð 8291467. The series is designated by 1 letter, all signs of serial number have the identical size.

In the central part there is denomination 100 and inscription: EIN HUNDERT MARK (above), REICHS WAEHRUNG (beneath), under it – red stamping of Reichsbankdirektorium. Over it – inscriptions in 7 lines: REICHSBANKNOTE / EIN / HUNDERT MARK / ZAHLT DIE REICHSBANK – HAUPTKASSE IN BERLIN OHNE / LEGITIMATIONS – PRÜFUNG DEM EINLIEFERER DIEFER BANKNOTE. / BERLIN, DEN 1. Description: Face side: On the top – figure 100. When the banknote is held up to the light, the image can be seen from both sides. In the center there is the silhouette of coat of arms of German Empire. Over it – gothic inscription in 6 lines: REICHSBANKNOTE. / EIN HUNDERT MARK / ZAHLT DIE REICHSBANKHAUPTKASSE IN BERLIN OHNE LEGITIMATIONS / PRÜFUNG DEM EINLIEFERER DIEFER BANKNOTE. / BERLIN, DEN 3.
