Denomination: Stater Year: - Material: Billon Description: 253 / 254 A.D. Obverse: BACIΛEΩC ФАРСАNZOY. Bust of King Rharsanzes wearing ribbon right, beaded circle. Reverse: Bust of Emperor Gallienus wearing wreath right, sphere at right, ANФ below, beaded circle. Diameter - 19 mm. Weight - 6.35 g. The second out of the two known specimens, of superior quality, is in FMM funds (1-st one is in the State Hermitage in St.-Petersburg). Country or town: Pantikapaion
